The International Basket Brigade

It was Thanksgiving when a knock was heard on the door where a struggling family lived. When the family’s 10 year old son came to the door he was greeted with a smile from a stranger and a basket containing a generous Thanksgiving meal – a meal they would have otherwise gone without. That day the son made a promise to himself that he would do well enough in life so that one day he could return the favour.

That boy was Anthony Robbins.

This one selfless act of unconditional love inspired Anthony Robbins so deeply that, years later, with his first hard earned paycheque he delivered two baskets. These two baskets turned into millions in what is today called the Anthony Robbins Foundation International Basket Brigade. A Basket Brigade takes place when one person creates a basket of food that is delivered to a family in need. All that is asked is that one day when they’re able, the recipient pay the gift forward. You can be a part of touching someone’s life and experience the joy that comes from giving a gift from the heart by participating in the 2008 International Basket Brigade!

The Norwich Basket Brigade

We invite you to be part of this year’s Basket Brigade in Norwich. Over the years, millions of people have been fed all over the world because of individuals just like you wanting to help someone less fortunate. All it takes is one person and one basket.

FUNDRAISING

Basket Brigade is 100% funded through donations, fundraising and sponsorship. No people costs are taken out; everyone works on a voluntary basis.
